The Al Mezan Center for Human Rights reported on the continuing and escalating attacks against Palestinian fishermen in Gaza by Israeli Occupation Forces. According to the Center, two separate attacks on the 21st and 26th of January, 2015 by Israeli forces damaged one boat and sank the other. A total of 8 fishermen were taken to the hospital with injuries ranging from bruising to bullet wounds. The Center condemned these attacks as tantamount to preventing fishermen from using the territorial waters which provides many of those living in refugee camps a way to make a living where none other exists and such action are in violation of international law, specifically the obligations under the Oslo Accords.
